3 Main Methods To Monetize Your Blog
I didn’t write much articles this weekend. Don’t worry, I’m not having any blogger mental block, I”m just taking it easy on this weekend:) For this hoobin.com project, it’s really overwhelm by the load of information about making money online. It’s just too much to write and share.
To Speed Up
To speed up the process of sharing and focus on what is important. It’s seem like blogging and building website is the most popular way of making money online here. Blogging is definitely a better option compare to building website for new comer, since it’s much more easy to setup and get it up running more quickly.
Blog Or Website?
What is the is pro and cons about building a website or blog? The good things we see about building a website is having more long term revenue without doing much work later on. We have a website continue pull in money after 2 years later without doing anything much. But it’s definite more work then blog in order to set it up. And for blogging, we still not sure how it’s really work out after we stop blogging but a blog can attract more online traffic compare to a website. This is why we test out the mix concept in Hoobin.com.
Anyway, either for building a website or blog, this are the 3 main methods of monetize our site and blog .
*update - we have finish compile paid blogging, advertisement, affiliate program definitive list.
We have manage to spend sometime to compile and finish up our the definitive list of advertising network & program from the publisher and web master point of view. Check it out and tell us what do you think of those program.
If you miss the definitive list of paid blogging, you should really try out those paid blogging program now. And we still have few more definitive lists to go. I think the most urgent one and useful one will be the affiliate program and paid survey. What do you think?

So far all of my efforts have been towards building websites and I’ve seen that initially traffic is not that hard to build, and it does seem to maintain itself even though no work is put into the website. I did see an initial dropoff of about 30% in traffic that hasn’t recovered, but if you plan for that then website is not a bad idea.
Now I am in the planning stages for a new blog which will likely launch sometime in early to mid September. It will be interesting to see the difference in traffic patterns and monetization between the two.

I”m complimenting your smart way to leave a comment in my site that fill in the gap for my blog topic which is paid survey. @WizCoder - it’s web 2.0 now. Since you point it out, I do see some site … main page is blog and sub page is website or static page. I guess blog is really take the internet world by storm.
