Hoobin.com started in late March 2007 by Me, Ken Teh. I started Hoobin.com because of my passion about internet. I’m startup entrepreneur that have burn a lot of venture capital money and still looking for way to get my company leading the way to make a difference in people life.
But Hoobin.com is not my startup. It just my little project to compile all the informations I read about making money online into one place. Personally, I have try those methods, some of them work and some of them don’t. But those information is definitely come in handy and useful. The Story Behind Hoobin.com
As I was reading some articles about how ordinary people become pro-blogger and pro-affiliate marketer making more money then some of the startup entrepreneur. I was amazed!
As a startup entrepreneur and I feel that that those people is really out done our startup in “Think Big, Start Small”. It’s definitely much lower risk or cost to start a blog or start an affiliate business then startup. And I always curious or like to know more about the better way to start or do a business.
As we are looking for more information about how this things work, it’s really hit us that “make money online” business model like blog advertising, affiliate, auction and more is a feasible business model that have low risk, low cost and high possibility.
The Search Of Make Money Online Information
Through our research, we read a lot of books about how to make money online. We test it, do ourself and see whether it works or not. What we found is most of the book can teach you the foundation about how to make money online, but you can’t really make it yet because you always still missing some very important pieces. So reading those books wouldn’t really help you to start make money online but only can help you get started with a solid foundation. Anyway, a solid foundation is essential.
Well, we found that blog is the best place to get the inside and latest information about how to make money online, but it’s wouldn’t give you the BIG picture or comprehensive information about how to make money online, it’s more like journal and it’s not very well organize too! So what we can say about blog is … Great information but not comprehensive plus it’s really difficult to find the information you are looking for in the blog too. Blog is great but blog is design to be more like “diary” rather then organizes information into more structure website.
Of course, we also come across with all these secret ebooks, DVD or people who like to sell their make money online information with premium price. It’s helpful to know but never think that ONE book or ONE DVD or seminar will change your life. You got to do it, continue learning, ask, practice it, improves it and network around that’s what “make money online” business all about.

So we create this website or blog to solve all this problems.
