Affiliate Or Pay Per Click?

Monetization is much more easy then getting traffic. But it’s require different knowledge and skill sets.

The most easy methods to monetize is using Adsense, Amazon and Ebay.

Why?

Because it’s have thousand and thousand of products to promote and with the auto optimize ads display, you don’t require any copy writing kill to start earn some money over there.

Monetize With Affiliate Program

Monetize with affiliate is a bit tougher. Sometime it’s require you to write “call to action” copy since if your visitor don’t buy, you don’t get pay.

Get to know your visitor, how to write good story, call to action copy, identify good affiliate program will become more essential when you try make money online using affiliate program.

For very target topic blogger, people do trust their expertize and their recommendation. So going into affiliate should be easy. But for blogger just blog about general topic, it’s getting harder to do that. And for website that don’t update often and target at their first visitor, we need to work harder to build instant trust and have good copy writing skill to push the hot button.

So the easy way for super affiliate to earn money is to buy website and monetize them. It’s much quicker and easier this way. Because super affiliate away developed a sense of “What Sell” and monetization have become their core competence:)

CJ.com is a good place to start to sell some branded and niche market, the only things we don’t like about CJ is … it’s harder to create text links that point directly to specific product like amazon and ebay, this make the monetization a bit harder. And some of company from CJ have strict requirement for their affiliate. Anyway, CJ.com is a gold mine if you know what to look for.

Clickbank is easy to set up and it’s THE place to find and sell info products. The bad things about clickbank is most of the info product market are really saturate. So it’s really tough to get traffic or dominate that niche. I guess a lot of beginner get stuck in the getting traffic stage and give up.

I have list down a lot of affiliate program for you to join. Recently I have join couple affiliate program who do assign account manager to every affiliate and I haven’t update the list for a while. Anyway, to have a great account manager to look after your shoulder is helpful, but most of them just keeping sending you junk mails:) Anyway, I guess I prefer to find the niche by myself and look for affiliate program to promote rather then let my account manager tell me what is the HOT product in the market to promote.

Monetize With Pay Per Click

Most of my new website is monetize with pay per click. If you have a new website, you can start monetize with pay per click. But if you are using social media to getting traffic and getting links, I strongly suggest you that don’t put pay per click ads until you start generate stable traffic from search engine and reference links from other website. Blog like hoobin who have a lot of pay per click wouldn’t get much incoming links. PERIOD. Most of the links I get is during my first 6 months.

My Advise

Get traffic first, write great content to submit to social media, hopefully you will get good links and get stable traffic from search engine, then start monetize with Pay Per Click. Lastly, monetize with affiliate program.
