The Google PageRank Storm is coming in, a few high page rank blogger have drop their page rank tremendously.
The reason is still unclear!
Of course
- First,we suspect it’s the work of selling paid links and passing around pagerank juice that violated google policy.
- Second, it’s might be the interlink between passing out pagerank juice to their network.

This is the traffic statistic for our down time and solve problem period:
As you can see, we have lost tremendous traffic due to this down time period and it’s going to take sometime to pick it up again.
Interesting Observation
One interesting observation here. We just found out that our search traffic sending by Yahoo Search Engine remain even after our website down time period. That’s mean that yahoo search engine have not include the bound rate into their SERP factor.

I guess we all have our way to find a new site. Due to we love to read through RSS, we found out that most of the time we find a new site is through follow the blog links. It’s very easy to explore all the related topic about making online online, affiliate and more.
But the most rewarding part is using Google Search, this is where we found most of the interesting resources and website out there. To use some advance search operators is even more rewarding to find specific interesting topic and cool website.

Besides the obvious reasons why the advertiser don’t buy link advertisement from the publisher because of low page rank, low traffic, and ads price is too high, SearchRank Blog write a post about “things that bug me regarding those who sell links” that spell out the less obvious reasons why advertiser don’t buy link ads sometime.
We think this is interesting. As a publisher, we definitely interested to know what are the advertiser concern and what really stop them from buying link ads from us?

This is the moment we being waiting for. The last google page rank update is in April 2007. Google usually update it’s page rank in 3-4 months time.
The Fact
Even though your actual google page rank is increase gradually but in the display of google page rank in google data center and google toolbar is update only once in 3-4 months time. The advertiser only count the display of google page rank in google data center, so google page rank update is important for the web master.
An increase of google page rank for web master is mean an increase in income and authority. You can sell your advertisement and link at a higher price if you have a higher google page rank site. It’s always a joy to get good google page rank update, after all, this is hard work.
This Week
At first, we thought the update will be at the very first of August but it’s not. Now, it’s seem like a lot indicator is telling us that it’s going to update soon. There are few blog that without PR is now getting one. So we think it’s coming:) Too bad we are not working hard enough to get more incoming link to boast our google page rank.

It’s know that digg user don’t like to make money online post, it’s pretty tough to see any make money online and SEO articles can be digg well in Digg.
But don’t worry, you don’t need to talk about make money online in order to be making money online. In fact, most of the site that make a lot of money online is the site that talk about interesting, breath taking, and latest topic not related to make money online blog.
So Digg is still useful for you but maybe not for our Hoobin.com resource center. We being looking for a place that is more pro make money online community. And recently Search Engine Land launched a digg like interactive marketing community call Sphinn might be the place for us to hang out.

This is definitely a bit weird if we just blog and don’t have many resource and website to point to when come to our make money online resources center, don’t we?
We have write a series SEO blogger topic such as on page optimization, offpage optimization, long tail, linkbait and link building. And hopefully we have cover most of the basic.
So we going to run a series of cover of search engine optimization resources this week so that you can find more information about SEO.
Actually, this is really what make us more unique, because there are handful of blog that talk about how to make money online, but not many make money online resources center that point you to the best sources for each topic such as blogging, affiliate, e-commerce and etc. This is where we really fill in the gap. But our website statistic tell us that, actually our blog is the most popular, that’s why we keep on writing more blog posts:) I guess people just love to read blog and get more insider information.
Anyway, our search engine traffic have triple and show consistent grown even since we start to optimize even though we test out couple of “interesting” SEO method. And SEO is really hard work too. Now, we are sure we can achieve great result using SEO to have 200 unique visitors a day by having 10-20% increase each month in our search engine traffic ( hopefully, we don’t do anything stupid ) . If you being reading our blog, then you know we have do a lot of SEO testing in this blog. Some work and some don’t work, it’s take us about 2 months to get all the results in ( and we still waiting for some of the result ), and now we know which strategy work best for us.
We going to share this more, but now we going to run a series of SEO resources website and forum so that you can find more information about search engine optimization:)

We being keep track of our google search engine result page(SERP), the result is not very encouraging.
We found out that … most of the time, the result page can be very confusing. For example, if we tell you that we are currently rank #1 in this keywords, then when you go and search for it, we are not number #1. Why?
