Often focused on determining appropriate keywords relevant to the site’s content and ensuring that they are distributed in the site’s content so that the targeted search engine will increase the ranking of the site for that search term. Pernicious Software Programs that “spy” on a user’s computer activities in order to collect data on usage, passwords, account numbers, or similarly valuable information in order to share it with the spyware’s distributor. Spyware is often installed accidentally by users when download other programs that do not disclose its inclusion in the download, or by clicking on links in unsolicited emails.
