”What You See is What You Get.” A term used to describe various graphic or website-building programs that show the results of a user’s input exactly as they will appear once published on a website. This is in contrast to other programs that only display work in computer code or in truncated versions of the expected output.

Uniform Resource Locator/Uniform Resource Identifier. The specific web address of a web page, which can include both the domain name (such as http://blogmarketingbook.com) or a specific file or web page on a website (such as http://blogmarketingbook.com/category/blogging-for-your-business/).
Short for video blogs, these blogs are made up of short video clips (in lieu of text or photo entries); creating the entries of a vidblog is called vidblogging. Bloggers sometimes include video in a mostly text blog, and this is also referred to as vidblogging.
A strategy that encourages individuals to pass on a marketing message to others. Viral marketing creates the potential for exponential growth, depending on the message’s influence on, and exposure to, its target audience. Like a virus, viral marketing is based on the premise that growth will spread exponentially.
