It’s seem obvious that this tools can help you identify the hot search keywords. What is different about this tools is you can use it to know the regional trends. This region trend feature is what really standout to us here compare to other keywords tools.

you can find out the most popularly search terms from year 2004 until now. Google Trends will show different chart on how often a particular search term is entered relative the total search volume across various regions and languages.

But you can’t tell how many search keywords hit using this tools, it’s only can give you a relative idea about the trend since it’s use to total of search key for certain keyword compare to total number of searches globally. ( In future, maybe it’s will become a paid service when you need more exact figure, I think this is what google AIM for)
