How To Keep Track Of Your Comments?

If you do blog commenting a lot, whether you have something to say or get on the top commenting spot and the least thing to do is spam commenting. We all hate spam comments!

Well, we do a lot of blog comments. Sometime the most frustrating thing for us to do is adding comments to other people’s blogs and the need to go back periodically to see if the blogger has replied to you or not.

It’s definitely nice if they have all install the wordpress subcribe to comments plugin to start a real conversation by following up comments sometime. Well, most of them don’t. So how can we keep track of our comments?

We use Commentful:

I like to use commentful since we work intensively with firefox for all our online activities. But if you don’t have firefox browser, it’s still very helpful to use commentful effectively.

Of course with commentful firework extension, it’s make the process even more easier by having you to right click and add into your commentful watch list for comments, if not you might have to cut and past the URL into it.

Here is How it’s Work

Do a blog comments and add the blog comments page into your commentful watchlist using commentful firefox add list or cut and past manually.

You can build a watch list up to 50 different blogs or social networking sites. Each watch will get expired after 30 days unless it’s renew. This will go and check for the new comments or content every 10 minutes.

If you have the firefox extension, it’s will show a blinking icon when a new comments is added. If you don’t have commentful firefox extension, you can either checking up your commentful page manually or subscribing via RSS to your watch list. This will still put everything into one page rather then having them bookmark all over the place.

Well, there is a new comment watch list application like Co.mments, we haven’t use it yet, but it’s up to you to try it up.
