As with physical lever, the concept of leverage in business is that disproportionately greater impact or reach can be obtained through use of a specialized tool or technique. In e-business, the inexpensive worldwide reach of the Internet offers greater leverage to a small owner than was cost-effectively available to industrial age small business that were linmited to local marketing.
