One very good example is The Coudal, the initially focused is on content and their design service. Now they are selling expensive ad space or products. We notice, as blogging become more and more mature, solid business model emerge.

One of our trick is to get more internal anchor text (it’s does count for google page rank), so we think in order to have more of the “make money online“, “how to make money online” and “make easy money online” keywords in our anchor text point to our home page, we group all the links with the keywords we want and put it in the footer. We have roughly around 200 posts and articles, so within one night, we have 200 internal anchor text links with all the important keywords. Nice huh … wait until you see what is “burning” us.
We read about the “SEOBook” that mention this might be an bad idea back in 2005, it’s said google is working on an algorithm to detect this. We thought, it’s can’t be that smart! Even though we are now in 2007, you know what, we are wrong.

As far as we know, money making blog have very low income in Google Adsense but if you are talking about other things like romance and lifestyle, you might have better Adsense income.

We know that SEO is not very popular topic for blogger compare to how to make money online. Anyway, we decide to share more about this basic things that blogger can do this week to optimize they search engine effort.
As you know, there are couples good SEO books and information out there, but there is no comprehensive handbook really written just for blogger or wordpress users. We have write 2 chapters in “Simple SEO Guide For Blogger” today, check it out and tell us what do you think. We intend to complete this handbook this week. Wow, we not sure whether we will find the time or not. But it’s definitely fun to see whether we can do it or not.
