Now PayPerPost Become Our RejectMePost

We just receive an email from PayPerPost mention that our blog have being rejected because our blog is not a blog rather then a website. I hope this is not because we say bad thing about payperpost.

No, I think pay per post wouldn’t do that. Do they? Anyway, here is the reason they give us in their email:

Unfortunately, as per our terms of service, blog postings for remuneration through our service should only be made on blogs, and not Websites, message boards, e-mails, IM or other similar services. An example of a blog can be found here:
http://blog.payperpost.com

Well, we don’t quite agree that our website is a just website. Our website have a blog, and it’s construct using blog platform - wordpress. I think what can we learn here is during our submission to pay per post, it’s mention that we need submit RSS feed, achieves page and first post. Since we don’t have an achieve page, we just simple submit hoobin main page as achieve page and first post. This might be the bummer why they think our blog is not a blog. Bad idea:P

Anyway, from this point of view, we know that to have an “achieves” page have become the main stream of blog nature. We don’t have an achieves page for our blog, maybe this is why they think we don’t have the blog nature. Well, fair enough. We will construct one and resubmit and see what they will said about our “blog”.

Here this is something we like to share, the rule of thumb for a great blog is :

1. Great About Page
2. Useful Achieves Page
3. Allow Comments & Ping For Communication

Sometime, we just love to break the rule and test it out. Just like you look at our website, We hack tremendously to put together a blog and a website, using wordpress. (Yeap, with that experience, we become ultimate wordpress user & developer ) Our rule of thumb is …

Well, it’s just too boring for us to put a wordpress blog out there without testing it’s limit.
I guess we are the testing guys, we test, try, try again and make it work. We hate just to follow every speculation or blog post, and treat as rule of thumb without really test out the result. ( unless it’s proven and back up with fact and figure )

If not, we always curious about how it work for us … I guess this is why we started hoobin.com

So this pay per post things, we going resubmit our blog with “Achieves” page. But we face another challenge is how we put our achieves page together since in our website, we write about make money online glossary term that is nobody going to read about it, but it’s useful for reference and you just can’t put a timestamp in glossary term and make it front page read, can you?

Anyway, can PayPerPost stop us from trying? I guess not.

Our testing on SEO blog have uncover a lot of interesting results. We will need to wait for the figure to get “stable” and google to refresh all our cache page before we know for sure it’s really work and put that into our little handbook guide. This is ground breaking for our little “long tail” SEO research!
