Our New Design Look
This couple days, we being working on our hoobin.com new design. We have brainstorm some ideas how we going to design our new hoobin.com look. We kind of know what we want … we want a 3 column look, maintain our hoobin blue and red color brand, main page with overview info, single page with a lot of info in the main panel, and etc.
Really sound like a lot of work. Yes it’s it!
Anyway, we don’t want to spend too much time and money on design until we finish writing our pillar content and start getting more traffic. But we know how important it is to create good first impress and usability feature for the website. With this, we end up spending more then 10 hours this week doing this redesign.
Well, I hope this hours is well spend and you guys will like the new design.

We going to move to this new design in this coming Monday. Meanwhile, I’m going to share more about the design process so that we all can learn from this experience.
We also manage to put together all the great wordpress monetize plugin in our new theme for this new design. It’s definitely wider. I hope it doesn’t look too squished on 1024 x 768 resolution, which is now the most common. I like how you’ve got the featured post at the top. Taking a cue from Darren, eh? Good idea, really. Can’t wait to see it on Monday.
Micheal, you are right, we want the look of a little bit of hoobin, problogger, wpdesigner and keep the feature what is working. We hope this will improve our bound rate:) I’m sure Darren have spend sometime to analysis his blog traffic and put the best out there, we like it!
