Spammer Use My Email Accounts : Hoobin Is Down For Few Days

Our site is being down for the last couple days. I’m was aways and unaware of the problem. One of the main reason is our hoobin.com is being hack or use by the spammer to send out spam emails and force our web hosting company to take drastic action to suspend our web hosting account for the last couple days. This is terrible!

Anyway, after communicate with our web hosting company, and confirm we are not the spammer and manage to trace and upgrade our software to the latest. We are now back online! If you are commenting, our email feature is still disable.

This is the first time my site being suspended due to spammer while I was away in oversea. The longest down time I even experience too:) We lost couple days of traffic. We constantly received good traffic from search engine even though I haven’t got time to write while I”m working on this hoobin.com new design and trying new monetize methods.

Anyway, there is some good news for me too! During this period on “no internet”, I was able to have less information input and have time to think more about fundamental of internet marketing and branding. Recently, a lot of people who trying to make money online have make serious mistake which is never think about the fundamental of marketing which is positioning and manage perceived value in the internet area. Working hard on SEO, Blogging and submitting to social media network is just not good enough if you are in the very competitive niche market.
