Simpler is better
Simplicity rule! It’s suggested by the expert that going through all of your design elements and removing them one at a time. If a design works without a certain design element, kill it.
This is a strong concept for “less is MORE”.
We have make the same mistake couple time, but once we work out the checklist, it’s help us to keep what is working and remove what is not necessary. It’s easy say then done here. But we know simplicity rule.
How About Ads?
The same apply for the ads, going through the design and remove the ads if the ads get in the way for user to read. You want to build an audience here rather then making some quick money about your content.
Try to go though couple time of the ads design, if it’s get in the way for user to read and navigate your website, kill it!
Usability is an important subject of creating a profitable website. It’s best to allocated sometime to test it and ask your friends opinion about the overall browsing experience at your website. Always ask them whether the layout is easy to read and the ads is get in the way for them to read the content.
From A System Point Of View
Testing and measure your website, duplicate and keep the same system for all your website for easier maintained. Try to test out couple of design concept in your new project, apply in all your websites when it’s show tremendous result.
