Website Down And The Search Engine Traffic Analysis
Last week, our site being down for around 5 days. Even though we have manage to solve all the problem, but our constant number of visitors being send by the search engine have being being cut down to around 30%.
No New Content A Week Is Nothing
Base on previous experience, if we didn’t blog for a week, there is no change from the search engine traffic pattern. But of course, it’s recommend to keep your website fresh so that google will rank your site higher. You can either write a new articles once a week or just rotate your old articles content. So “refresh” your site once a week is a good advise.
High Bound Rate Is The Main Killing
But this time, our site is being down for 5 days, and definitely google will detect that our visitor bound rate is almost 95% above, so it’s will start stop sending traffic to our site. This is really the last thing you want google to think that your site is no longer relevant to those search keywords. This is really bad!
Anyway, we are interested to know when and how our constant search engine traffic will be back to normal. I guess the best things we can do is write more articles this month, modify some old articles and using google webmaster tool to resubmit our new rebuild sitemap. What do you guys think?
