To start an online business is taking chance, and the success rate to be an online entrepreneur doesn’t look too good here. Maybe because we have a mindset that we thought that online business is easy and everybody can do it. Well, let talk about this.

We think Rosalind Gardner, the author of The Super Affiliate Handbook make a very good points on this topic about the “MYTH of Online Business”.

Myth #1: Online Business is EASY

Nothing worth doing in life or in business is ever “easy”.
We totally agree with that. Online Business takes time and effort, and anyone who suggest otherwise is trying to sell you something or just “easy come and easy go” kind of thing. Building business take time and effort, period.

Myth #2: ANYONE can make money online

Nope, only those who learn and take action will succeed.
Well, a person don’t learn can’t do ANY BUSINESS. And a person don’t take action don’t have ANY BUSINESS.

Myth #3: You can “GET RICH QUICK” on the net!

Yeah, can be fast, is just not that fast!
We agree that you can make money online in little time compare to offline business(that’s why we are in this business) but it’s just won’t happen overnight as some unscrupulous sellers promise.

Myth #4: IT’s free to do Business Online

Hmmm, it’s doesn’t cost MUCH to do business online would be more accurate!
It’s true that Web hosting is getting cheaper and it’s more cost effective to advertise online but you still have to pay.

Myth #5: IT TOO LATE to start an online business

Nothing is too late!
Yeah, it’s would be true if you totally agree with the statement that it’s too late to start any business because there are billion of existing businesses, duh! It’s never too late, you just have to find your market! Just like any other business … you just have to find your customer!

Myth #6: The BIG Money talk is just hype!

Sure, just like the Ford said “Either way, you are right”.
But we know one thing for sure is … the more people you can serve or sell, the more money you can get. And internet have this ability to reach more people beyong your imagination.
